DAY 14

It's Bank Holiday! It's Bank Holiday! It's Bank Holiday!

We THOUGHT that'd be the atmosphere in town today...boy were we mistaken.

The streets were flooded with dismal water and O'Connell got so cold we had to run from store to store during our shopping.

Needless to say, there wasn't a lot going on today.

Except for one thing.

I had the most delicious meal I've had here thus far. And I owe it to Mr. B.

After a tour of the country-side and beautiful little areas like Dalkey Village, we ate at a place called Johnnie Fox's. Fox's is one of Ireland's oldest and most famous traditional Irish pubs. They're also famed as being the highest pub in the country, so the view was breathtaking. Even though it was a bit drizzly and storm clouds hid the light, you could still see the sea-front and beautiful beaches.

After that we enjoyed cocktails at this mod place, different than the usual pub scene the girls and I had been doing. Hours flew by in deep conversation, and I have to say...maybe this Bank Holiday wasn't so boring after all. :)

Texas fight.
